Job summary

CANDIDZONE is seeking a Telecom/ELV Technician in Qatar to perform installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of low-current systems on industrial projects.

You will install CCTV, access control and fire & gas detection systems, read technical drawings, and conduct inspections while coordinating with engineers and site teams to ensure safe, compliant execution of all activities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Telecom / ELV Technician.
• Hands-on experience in CCTV, Access Control, Fire & Gas systems, and telecom/ELV installations.
• Experience in installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of low-current systems.
• Previous experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial, or EPC projects is preferred.
• Experience in Ras Laffan will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of technical drawings, cabling, and system wiring.
• Knowledge of HSE requirements and industrial site practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper records of installation, testing, maintenance, and site activities.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with HSE procedures and project requirements.
