Job summary

Merge Recruitment Agency is seeking a experienced Automotive Manager in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will analyze product problems, manage vehicle repair processes, and ensure timely completion of jobs in accordance with quality standards. Candidates should possess a degree in engineering, over 10 years of relevant experience in the automobile field including 5 in management, with excellent English communication skills and preferably Arabic. Own vehicle and driving license required.

• At least 5 years’ experience in a managerial capacity.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Analyze various product problems and prepare technical feedback report to the Principal.
• Manage the vehicle diagnosis and maintenance work procedure for workshop technicians/electricians, ensuring timely completion of jobs as per quality and standard laid down in the workshop manuals.
• Manage and control day‑to‑day production activities to ensure that vehicle repair and delivery are met within agreed timescales.
• Assist in maintaining work procedures for workshop technicians/mechanics.
• Ensure timely completion of jobs as per the quality standards laid down in the workshop manual and ensure manufacturer Service Process is properly followed in every case.
• Assist the technicians while performing complex diagnosis procedures.
• Facilitate, supervise and coordinate the delivery of all physical resources required for the smooth operation of the workshop and allocate the technicians accordingly.
• Coordinate with Service/Workshop Manager for the workshop activities to ensure maximum utilization of resources and manpower in the repair and service of vehicles.
• Respond to customer queries and concerns, escalating when necessary and ensuring corrective action is taken on a priority basis.
