Job summary

Al Shirawi is seeking a procurement professional to draft subcontracts, negotiate terms, and coordinate with quality teams to develop templates and ensure compliant, cost-effective sourcing.

The role involves supplier visits, reviewing offers, benchmarking prices, managing budgets with the Business Development team, and guiding engineers on risk and process improvements. You'll handle vendor selection and maintain relationships to maximize savings while upholding ethical practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement and contract review.
• Ability to negotiate prices, payment terms and manage supplier performance.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Draft subcontracts and templates with quality coordination.
• Negotiate prices and payment terms with suppliers.
• Coordinate with Business Development on budgets and estimation quotes.
• Authorize supplier site visits to different locations.
• Coordinate & seek information from Operations for technical and operational needs.
• Ensure procurement of materials and awarding of subcontracts & services; send enquiries and review offers.
• Review contracts for completeness and risk to protect the company.
• Provide guidance to engineers and perform risk assessments.
• Manage stakeholders and address audit findings.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical practices in procurement.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and benchmarking against market.
