Job summary

Confidential Careers in Qatar seeks a Senior Specialist – Procurement to lead end-to-end sourcing, tendering, and contract award activities. You will develop strategies for goods, services, and corporate contracts while evaluating supplier proposals and total cost of ownership.

You will negotiate terms, coordinate evaluations and contracts, and drive savings opportunities. Strong English required; Arabic helpful; ERP experience essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Admin, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant procurement experience.
• Experience with strategic sourcing, tendering, and supplier negotiation.
• Proficiency with ERP platforms such as Oracle SAP Ariba S/4HANA or Dynamics 365.
• CIPS or CPSM is preferred; strong English skills; Arabic advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, tendering, commercial evaluation, and contract award activities.
• Develop procurement strategies for goods, services, and corporate contracts.
• Evaluate supplier proposals, quotations, terms, and total cost of ownership.
• Negotiate with suppliers to improve pricing, service levels, and terms.
• Coordinate tender evaluations, POs, contract execution, and supplier reviews.
• Analyze expenditure, market conditions, risks, and savings opportunities.
• Prepare procurement reports on savings, cycle times, and compliance.
• Improve procedures, templates, systems, controls, and reporting.
• Train stakeholders on procurement planning, tendering, evaluation, and governance.
