Job summary

International Organization for Migration (IOM) Qatar is seeking a Programme Officer to coordinate the Qatar Country Programme, including development, monitoring, reporting, and engagement with government authorities and partners.

The role reports to the Chief of Mission in Qatar and requires experience in programme management, capacity-building and liaison with national and international institutions to ensure timely delivery of activities.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in International Relations or related field with five years of relevant experience; or university degree with seven years of relevant experience.
Experience in programme conceptualisation, development, monitoring, reporting and evaluation.
Experience liaising with governmental and diplomatic authorities and with national/international institutions.
Experience in organising consultations, workshops and seminars with high level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Manage, coordinate and oversee the activities of the Qatar Country Programme.
Coordinate programme development, capacity-building and project implementation support.
Liaise with government counterparts, international organizations and private sector entities.
