Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Advertising, PR, Marketing, Media, Journalism, Business Studies or any other relevant field
• 6-8 years of relevant full-time work experience in communication planning within an agency, corporation, organization or the media
• Experience in storytelling-driven environments preferred (e.g. Newsrooms). Track record in delivering successful communication projects to large-scale organizations (non-profit, corporate, media setting)
• Specific knowledge of communication planning, trafficking and project management systems
• Effective planning and project management skills with the ability to set and work to personal, team and budget deadlines. Ability to engage, conduct diagnosis, analyses findings, generate options and build commitment to solutions
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office applications

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic projects and strategic alignment of high-risk projects under the CCO's mandate
• Support organizational development projects to ensure effectiveness
• Manage CCO stakeholder management and communications
• Support directors to communicate strategic opportunities, results and knowledge transfer
• Lead special projects on behalf of senior managers ensuring alignment with leadership directives
• Lead quarterly reporting for the CCO Division via cross-directorate collaboration
• Create CCO materials for leadership updates and stakeholder presentations
• Define project parameters and initiate projects on behalf of the CCO
• Create and distribute project briefs and steer as required
• Align CCO briefs with divisional priorities across departments
• Act as interface between CCO Office, CPO and CEO Office; prepare minutes of Strategy Board & CCO meetings
• Handle other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor
