Job summary

Airswift is seeking a senior Project Manager in Qatar to lead project lifecycles, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure timely delivery within approved budgets. The role requires strong procurement, vendor management, and requirements analysis capabilities, with experience in IT solutions delivery and agile environments.

• Implement diverse corporate solutions to meet business needs.
• Identify and mitigate project risks with strategies.
• Communicate with stakeholders on progress and changes.

Job description

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or a related Engineering/Business field.

Technical Skills

• Strong Knowledge and experience of software procurement procedures, requirements/systems analysis, tendering procedures, vendor's negotiation, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Information Security requirements.

• Excellent people management, problem solving, persuasion, negotiation, and decision-making skills and team player with good written and verbal communication skills.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

Project Management

• Manage the entire project life cycle, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery of projects.

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Possess a deep understanding of procurement processes, enabling effective management of vendor and facilitating the acquisition of necessary resources.
• Conduct comprehensive technical and commercial evaluations of bids received, allowing for informed decision-making during the selection process.

Requirements Analysis & Solution Delivery

• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user requirements, and prepares feasibility/business case reports and technical requirements documents to make sure that IT projects are delivered according to QatarEnergy business needs and approved budget.
• Identify user requirements, create scope of work, draft functional requirements, Design, implement, and deploy IT business solutions.
• Implementing diverse corporate solutions to meet specific business need.

Risk Management

• identifying and managing risks associated with a project. This includes the ability to develop risk mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Management

• Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress and any changes.

Technical Expertise

• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of IT concepts and technologies.

Methodology & Delivery
