Primary Purpose of the Job

Plan, Direct, Coordinate, Accomplish and Monitor Major Rotating Equipment’s Engineering, Overhaul and Inspection activities within Mesaieed operations. Provide specialized Technical and Engineering support to plant operations and engineers to maintain equipment’s as per applicable international standards. Stay abreast of state-of-the art developments in the rotating equipment discipline and propose state-of-the art techniques, equipment and materials, which will benefit the company and its operations.

Required Experience and Skills

Good knowledge of International ISO/API standards. All-round knowledge of Engineering, Maintenance, Troubleshooting and Root cause failure analysis of rotating equipment’s.

Effective presentation, communication, Technical reports writing, Team player and ability to guide and motivate subordinates, Ability to handle contractors, Able to operating computer applications including Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes and SAP, and Proficient in English language.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s University Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Engineering and Overhaul/inspection training courses related to Heavy duty Gas Two shaft gas turbines, centrifugal process gas compressors, expanders, heavy duty gearboxes, torque convertors and large cooling water pumps.
