Job summary

Alwadi Hotel Doha, part of the Accor family and the MGallery portfolio, is seeking a Spa Therapist to deliver professional treatments, maintain high hygiene standards, and create a calm, welcoming guest journey throughout each spa visit.

You will work with a dedicated team, follow MGallery service standards, tailor therapies to individual needs, manage treatment rooms, and contribute to memorable wellbeing experiences in a luxury hotel setting that celebrates Qatari hospitality.

Qualifications

• Professional certification in Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy, or Beauty Therapy.
• Experience as a Spa Therapist in a hotel, resort, or wellness environment is advantageous.
• Strong communication and guest-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional and personalized spa treatments, massages, and wellness services according to MGallery standards.
• Consult with guests to understand their needs, preferences, and wellness goals before each treatment.
• Recommend suitable treatments and products based on individual guest requirements.
• Create a calm, welcoming, and comfortable environment throughout the guest’s spa journey.
• Ensure all treatment rooms and equipment are clean, hygienic, and properly prepared.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming and professional appearance.
• Provide knowledgeable guidance on treatments, products, and wellness practices.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and follow spa procedures and safety standards.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment requirements to the Spa Supervisor.
• Support day-to-day operation of the spa and assist colleagues when required.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and elevate concerns to the supervisor when necessary.
• Contribute to creating thoughtful, personalized moments reflecting the spirit of MGallery.
• Emb ody the MGallery spirit through warm, discreet, attentive service.

What you will be doing:

• Maintain accurate treatment records and follow all spa procedures and safety standards
• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment requirements to the Spa Supervisor
• Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the spa and assist colleagues when required
• Handle guest feedback professionally and elevate any concerns to the supervisor when necessary

Your experience and skills include:

• Professional certification or qualification in Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy, Beauty Therapy, or a related field
• Previous experience as a Spa Therapist in a hotel, resort, or wellness environment is an asset
• Good knowledge of massage techniques, spa treatments, and wellness practices
• Warm, caring, and professional personality with a genuine passion for guest wellbeing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand and anticipate guest needs while maintaining professionalism and discretion
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and cleanliness
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage appointments and treatment schedules effectively
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Flexible and willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Professional grooming and a positive attitude at all times
