Job summary

Craft Silicon in Qatar is seeking a Software Test Engineer to design, execute and manage testing activities for enterprise software across web and mobile platforms. The role emphasizes quality, functional correctness and timely delivery.

You will manually test across functional areas, create test artifacts, document defects and collaborate with the QA team to ensure high-quality releases.

Responsibilities

• Perform Manual Testing across Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, API, Database and UAT testing.
• Create test plans, test cases and test scenarios from requirements.
• Prepare and execute test cases; document and track defects to closure in JIRA.
• Participate in requirement analysis, test design and execution to meet timelines.
• Follow up on issues; coordinate with stakeholders and re-test fixes.
• Analyze existing functionality and identify areas for modification and improvement.
• Participate in defect calls and communicate risks to timelines and quality.
• Maintain clear testing documentation and status updates.

Responsibilities

• Perform Manual Testing across Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, API, Database and UAT testing.


• Create test plans, test cases and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements to ensure comprehensive coverage.


• Prepare and execute test cases; document, report and track defects to closure using tools such as JIRA.


• Participate in requirement analysis, test design and execution, ensuring timely completion of testing phases with a focus on quality.


• Follow up on reported issues, coordinate with relevant stakeholders and perform re-testing of fixes.


• Analyze existing functionality and identify areas for modification and improvement.


• Participate in defect calls and elevate issues that may affect project timelines, product quality or delivery.


• Maintain clear testing documentation and communicate testing status, risks and observations effectively.
