Site Engineer - Multi-Discipline Infrastructure Lead

Job summary

Parsons in Qatar is seeking a seasoned Site Engineer to support the Senior and Resident Engineers on multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, utilities, MEP and instrumentation. You will ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, and safety requirements.

You will lead inspections, review submittals, coordinate with contractors and discipline teams, and maintain comprehensive site documentation to drive quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.
• More than 10 years post-graduate experience in construction supervision, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar Site Engineer role on large-scale infrastructure services projects.
• Proven experience supervising infrastructure works and coordinating with MEP and instrumentation teams on site.
• Strong understanding of construction standards, codes, and regulations relevant to infrastructure and building services in Qatar.
• Ability to read and interpret multi-disciplinary drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience in QA/QC processes on site, including inspection, recording non-conformances, and supporting corrective actions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with CAD viewing software.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• MMUP / MME registration in Qatar as an Engineer is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Senior Site Engineer and Resident Engineer in administering day-to-day site activities for infrastructure and building services works.
• Overseeing construction activities related to earthworks, roadworks, drainage networks, and MEP installations.
• Participating in the review and approval of contractor submittals across relevant disciplines.
• Involving in QA/QC processes to ensure project standards are met across disciplines.
• Leading and directing inspectors to ensure activities comply with contract and procedures.
• Coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers to ensure timely delivery of resources.
