Job summary

QatarEnergy in Doha seeks a senior liaison for its LNG Shipping Department, coordinating between project management, engineering teams, ship operators and external stakeholders to ensure safety, compliance and operational excellence across the long-term chartered LNG fleet.

Minimum 8 years in oil/gas marine operations and transportation with proven profit centre management, plus a Bachelor’s degree or a 1st Class Marine Certificate of Competency.

Job description

Primary Purpose of the Job

Serves as the principal liaison between the LNG Shipping Department of the QatarEnergy Marketing Directorate and project management / engineering teams responsible for the new build ships, ship operators, and other external stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence are met with the seamless integration of project requirements throughout the lifecycle of the long-term chartered LNG fleet.

Required Experience and Skills

Minimum 8 years in oil/gas marine operations and transportation with proven track record of profit centre management.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marine Studies or similar OR 1st Class Marine Certificate of Competency (Master Mariner/Chief Engineer).
