Live vacancy LNG Ship Assurance Officer Qatar

I am currently supporting my client in the search for experienced LNG maritime professionals to join their LNG Shipping Assurance team in Qatar.

This role is focused on ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient transportation of LNG through robust marine assurance, ship vetting and operational oversight activities across a global LNG fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• LNG vessel vetting and assurance activities
• SIRE review, assessment and close-out follow-up
• Operational inspections and ship visits
• Bunker vessel quality assurance activities
• Marine risk assessments and due diligence reviews
• Supporting shipping operations on marine technical matters

Qualifications

• Class 1 CoC (Master Mariner or Chief Engineer) or relevant degree
• Minimum 8 years’ marine industry experience
• LNG shipping, marine assurance or vetting experience
• Strong knowledge of SIRE, PSC and marine regulatory standards
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
