A leading technical service provider in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced SHES Specialist for one of their projects. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ level 5 qualification or equivalent, along with 15 years of relevant experience, including knowledge of major project execution processes. Proficiency in conducting audits and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards is essential, as is prior international experience with Tier-1 EPC Contractors. This position offers a pivotal role in maintaining safety standards on large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in lieu of NVQ level 5 qualification.
• Lead Auditor certification in SHES.
• 10 years experience in relevant discipline.
• TapRooT Root Cause Analysis training (or similar).
• 10 years experience in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• International project experience with Tier-1 EPC Contractors or clients.
• Strong knowledge of large-scale project execution processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage SHES processes on construction projects.
• Conduct audits and provide compliance training.
• Oversee health and safety during project execution.

• SHES related NVQ level 5; or equivalent or 15 years experience in lieu of the NVQ level 5 qualification.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent.
• SHES related Lead Auditor certification.
• TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis training (or similar, e.g. Tripod Beta or SCAT)
• 10 years experience in Occupational Health and Safety (or relevant discipline specific experience related to scope of work).
• International project experience with Tier-1 EPC Contractors or Client, involved in the construction of onshore production facilities (i.e. greenfield and brownfield work).
• Sound knowledge of the project execution process in large-scale project environments.
