Job summary

UCC Holding is seeking a Senior Project Manager for upstream oil & gas projects in Qatar. You will lead delivery from concept through execution, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover with a focus on safety, schedule and budget adherence.

The role requires 15+ years of overall project management and at least 10+ years in upstream oil & gas, with strong EPC/EPCM experience and a track record on USD 100M+ projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall project management experience.
• 10+ years of upstream oil & gas project experience (Mandatory).
• Experience delivering large‑scale EPC/EPCM projects in upstream facilities.
• Experience managing USD 100M+ projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring and delivery of upstream oil & gas projects.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and operations.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality and HSE performance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes and regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables, procurement strategies and construction plans.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage project reporting, progress reviews and executive presentations.
• Ensure contract administration and change management.
• Support commissioning, startup and handover activities.
