Job summary

Kintec Lusail is seeking a senior upstream project leader in Qatar. You will spearhead initiation, feasibility, and early concept optimization for onshore/offshore developments, coordinating with Development, Project Engineering, and Operations to define strategies and execution plans.

You will manage study schedules, budgets, contracts, and technical deliverables while guiding multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and readiness for handover, and you will evaluate new technologies for pilot

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years experience in upstream oil & gas project development.

Responsibilities

• Lead project initiation, feasibility, and early concept optimization for upstream oil & gas developments.
• Coordinate with Development, Project Engineering, and Operations teams to set study strategies and execution plans.
• Manage study schedules, budgets, contracts, and technical deliverables.
• Oversee multidisciplinary engineering studies and ensure technical quality.
• Identify project risks, opportunities, and constraints with mitigation strategies.
• Manage the transition of concepts into detailed project engineering.
• Support technical assurance, operability readiness, and project handover.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and support pilot projects.
