Job summary

UCC Energy is seeking a Senior Treasury Officer to oversee daily treasury operations, cash visibility, liquidity forecasting and banking administration across corporate and country/asset finance teams.

Responsibilities include cash forecasting, funding support and risk monitoring. The role requires 7+ years in treasury, strong Excel and ERP skills, and English fluency, based in Qatar with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Oil & gas operations or JV experience is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field is required.
• 7+ years in treasury, cash management, banking or corporate finance.
• Experience with cash forecasting, payment controls, banking facilities, covenants, FX exposure and working capital.
• Experience supporting multiple entities, countries or business units.
• Advanced Excel and banking platform skills; SAP Treasury preferred.

The Senior Treasury Officer will manage daily treasury operations, cash visibility, liquidity forecasting, banking administration, payments, funding support and financial exposure reporting for UCC Energy. The role ensures cash control, reliable forecasts and disciplined treasury processes across corporate and country/asset finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily cash position and 13-week cash forecast.
• Manage bank accounts, signatories, mandates, KYC and payment controls.
• Support funding, facilities, covenants, guarantees and compliance tracking.
• Monitor FX, interest rate, counterparty and commercial exposures.
• Support working capital improvement, cash-call timing and contract payment terms.
• Maintain treasury controls, reconciliations, registers and reporting.
• Support SAP Treasury/BCM, bank integration and treasury process improvement.

Candidate Requirements

• Oil & Gas operations and/or Joint Venture experience, preferably from the operator/owner’s perspective rather than the contractor’s side, is mandatory for all roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Relevant treasury training or strong practical treasury experience.
• 7+ years in treasury, cash management, banking or corporate finance.
• Experience with cash forecasting, payment controls, banking, facilities, covenants, guarantees, FX exposure and working capital.
• Experience supporting multiple entities, countries or business units.
• Advanced Excel, ERP and banking platform skills.
• SAP Treasury, BCM, Power BI or treasury management systems are preferred.
• Fluent English and based in Qatar with occasional travel.
