Job summary

QatarEnergy seeks a senior Pipeline Integrity Engineer to lead offshore and onshore LNG pipeline integrity programs, including RBI, PIMS, and emergency repair systems. The role requires strong expertise in corrosion control, NDT, RCFA, and standards compliance. Field presence and collaboration with stakeholders are essential.

You will develop annual integrity plans, support budget processes, and drive continuous improvement across the asset portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/material/metallurgy/structural/civil or pipeline engineering; 8+ years in oil/gas with pipelines integrity focus.
• Experience in risk-based integrity management, RBI, PIMS, corrosion control, NDT, RCFA in sour service contexts.
• Familiarity with ASME/API/NACE/DNV standards for pipeline integrity management.
• Experience with inspection data management and subsea/pipeline tools like GIS and PVI.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive pipeline integrity programs for LNG assets offshore and onshore.
• Develop and implement EPRS and emergency response systems for new and existing pipelines.
• Contribute to RBI, barrier management, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Provide technical input for budgets, studies, and contractor selections.
• Support field activities, data analysis, and collaboration with internal/external stakeholders.
