Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Pre-commissioning Engineer in Doha, Qatar, within the Subsea Pre-commissioning Engineering Department. You will respond to the Pre-commissioning Manager and be part of Saipem Qatar.

The role requires 8 years offshore subsea pipeline pre-commissioning experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, and strong English communication. You will oversee QA/QC, schedules, and supplier definitions, coordinating with Offshore Method Lead and Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Offshore, or Pipeline Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years of offshore subsea pipeline pre-commissioning experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical integrity and compliance with cost and deadlines across engineering phases.
• Define tasks, schedules and specifications; approve designs for purchase or construction.
• Participate in offshore activities, audits, and technical examinations with client.
