Job summary

Swan Global is seeking an experienced Pre-Commissioning Supervisor - Piping for our client in the Oil & Gas industry in Qatar. The role focuses on driving successful project completions while upholding the highest safety standards.

The candidate will review engineering and SHES documentation, prepare method statements and work packs, develop schedules and resource plans, and ensure all handovers meet processes. Qatar Ras-Laffan experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written command of English.
• Experience with pre-commissioning activities, method statements, and commissioning procedures.
• SHES documentation knowledge and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Review project engineering, technical and SHES documentation.
• Prepare pre-commissioning Method Statements, JSAs and work packs for pre-commissioning activities.
• Develop pre-commissioning schedules and resource plans.
• Identify tools, test equipment, temporary facilities, lubricants, consumables, and third-party services for work execution.
• Provide input to the Completions database with the Completions team.
• Participate in constructability reviews for efficient handover.
• Ensure commissioning data and handovers comply with processes and procedures.
• Maintain a strong safety culture within the Pre-commissioning team.
• Prepare accurate pre-commissioning progress and status reports.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Pre-Commissioning Supervisor - Piping to for our client in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will drive successful project completions while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Review project engineering, technical and SHES documentation
• Prepare pre-commissioning Method Statements, JSAs and work packs for pre-commissioning activities
• Develop pre-commissioning schedules and resource plans
• Identify pre-commissioning and commissioning tools, test equipment, temporary facilities, lubricants, consumables, and third-party services required for work execution
• Provide input to the Completions database for system and sub-system population in conjunction with the Completions team
• Participate in constructability reviews to ensure efficient pre-commissioning and handover
• Ensure all commissioning data, documentation and handovers comply with Completions processes and project procedures
• Play an active role in maintaining a strong safety culture within the Pre-commissioning team
• Prepare accurate pre-commissioning progress and status reports

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar position as Pre-commissioning Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry
• Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Excellent verbal and written command of English
• Experience with pre-commissioning activities, method statements, and commissioning procedures
• Strong knowledge of SHES documentation and safety standards
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Qatar Ras-Laffan work experience is preferred
