Job summary

Airswift seeks an Engineering Lead (Structural) in Qatar to lead all structural deliverables for offshore jackets and sensor tower platforms, from FEED to AFC and final as-built documentation. The role requires overseeing analysis, design basis, specifications, drawings, and engineering assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (required).
• 8+ years of engineering experience (required).
• 4+ years of Oil & Gas industry experience (required).
• 1 year in a supervisory/leadership or contractor-oversight role (required).
• Demonstrated experience as a Structural Lead on major offshore capital projects (required).

Responsibilities

• Provide structural engineering assurance across project phases and deliverables.
• Lead and mentor structural engineering teams; maintain SME competency.
• Review contractor designs and verify compliance with standards; suggest improvements.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards and practices across projects.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and sub-vendors; resolve issues.
• Review and approve structural deliverables, material requisitions, and purchase orders.
• Coordinate structural activities across the project lifecycle: planning, scheduling, interface management, risk management, handover.
• Drive continuous improvement and offshore interfaces with drilling, completion, and other disciplines.
