Job summary

Confidential, based in Qatar, seeks an experienced Procurement professional to source ship spares and related industrial products from local and international vendors. You will coordinate quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure timely procurement to meet client delivery schedules.

You will manage documentation, purchase orders, and email correspondence, while maintaining strong vendor and client communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 34 years of relevant experience in procurement/purchasing.
• Experience in purchasing ship spares, industrial products, or Oil & Gas-related products will be preferred.
• Strong vendor coordination and negotiation skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in professional email communication.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with both local and international suppliers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Procure ship spares and related industrial products from local and international vendors.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure timely procurement.
• Coordinate with clients regarding their requirements and delivery schedules.
• Arrange and monitor the delivery of procured materials to clients.
• Maintain effective communication and follow-up with vendors and clients.
• Handle procurement-related documentation, quotations, purchase orders, and email correspondence.
