Job summary

KBR is seeking a Scaffolding and Painting Technical Professional to plan, coordinate, and oversee scaffolding, surface prep, blasting, painting, coating, and corrosion protection for the project in Qatar. You will ensure work meets project specs, international standards, client requirements, and KBR quality procedures while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in scaffolding, painting, coating, and corrosion protection in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, Refinery, or EPC projects.
• Experience on large-scale industrial projects in the Middle East is preferred.
• Familiarity with Qatar Energy, LNG, or similar client projects is advantageous.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
• Strong planning, coordination, and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate scaffolding and erection activities on site.
• Supervise surface preparation, blasting, painting, and corrosion protection.
• Review method statements, risk assessments, and work procedures.
• Promote HSE compliance and participate in toolbox talks.
• Liaise with construction, maintenance, QA/QC, and HSE teams; report progress to management.
