Job summary

Experience in Doha is seeking a senior risk and opportunity management lead for large-scale projects. You will establish, maintain and continually improve project-wide risk systems and plans, coordinating with client and contractor teams.

The role requires over 20 years of post-graduate experience, including at least 10 years in similar risk roles, and strong English communication. International project exposure and Chartered/registered status are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• 20+ years of post-graduate experience with 10+ years in risk management on large projects.
• Experience in the Middle East is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the consultant-side risk and opportunity management function across work packages.
• Establish and continually improve project-wide risk management systems and processes.
• Prepare and maintain the Risk and Opportunity Management Plan as per contract and Authority requirements.
• Develop risk registers covering time, cost, quality, scope, safety, environment, stakeholders and interfaces.
• Facilitate risk workshops with client, supervision team, contractor and stakeholders.
• Ensure proper risk ownership, mitigation actions and target dates; track residual risk.
• Provide risk dashboards, reports and trend analyses for leadership reviews.
