Job summary

NTU International A/S seeks a Senior Non-Key Expert – Railways Specialist to support technical, policy and investment-related tasks in railway projects worldwide. The role targets Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Asia and the Pacific, with an anticipated January 2027 start and a 48-month window.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in railway engineering, civil engineering, transport engineering or related field.
Excellent knowledge of railway sector, interoperability, safety and standards.
Experience with development aid delivery and international projects.
Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support identification, preparation and implementation of railway infrastructure projects.
Conduct feasibility studies, technical assessments and design reviews.
Advise on rail planning, interoperability, and multimodal integration.
Assist procurement, tendering, supervision and maintenance planning.
Promote low-carbon, climate-resilient railway infrastructure.
Apply EU and international railway standards and good practices.
