Job summary

NTU International A/S is seeking qualified Investment, Finance & Risk Experts to join its expert pool for short-term assignments in clean energy and clean tech. Candidates should show strong experience in energy/infrastructure finance, investment analysis and risk assessment, with familiarity in blended finance and private capital mobilisation.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, economics, business or related discipline.
• Proven experience in energy or infrastructure finance and risk assessment.
• Experience with renewable energy or climate investments.
• Familiarity with blended finance and private capital mobilisation.
• Experience with IFIs or donor-funded programmes is advantageous.
• Experience in the MENA region is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Conducting financial and investment analyses of clean energy and clean technology projects.
• Developing financial models and assessing project bankability and commercial viability.
• Identifying investment barriers, financing gaps and appropriate financial instruments.
• Supporting investment structuring and the mobilisation of public and private finance.
• Advising on blended finance, guarantees, risk-sharing mechanisms and other de-risking instruments.
• Conducting financial, commercial and investment risk assessments.
• Supporting engagement with investors, financial institutions, development banks and private sector stakeholders.
• Contributing to investment pipelines, project preparation and investment promotion activities.
• Preparing financial assessments, investment studies and recommendations.
