Job summary

NTU International A/S is seeking qualified Clean Tech Business & Value Chains Experts to join our expert pool and support private sector development, business cooperation, market development and sustainable value chains across EU-MENA projects.

Selected experts may be mobilised on a short-term, on-demand basis during project implementation, collaborating with public authorities, investors, SMEs and technology providers.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in clean technology, private sector development, value chain development, business development or investment promotion.
• Experience with renewable energy, energy efficiency, green hydrogen, storage, sustainable industry and/or other clean technology sectors is desirable.
• Experience working with private companies, SMEs, start-ups, investors or business associations.
• Knowledge of EU-MENA trade, investment and business cooperation is a strong asset.
• Experience with EU-funded programmes, international organisations or development finance institutions is advantageous.
• Strong market analysis, business development, networking and stakeholder engagement skills.

About NTU International A/S

NTU International A/S is a leading international consulting company providing project management and technical advisory services worldwide. NTU works extensively with European Union institutions, international financial institutions, development agencies, and public sector clients across energy, climate, infrastructure, innovation, economic development, and sustainable investment.

NTU International is preparing a proposal for the EU-MENA Clean Tech Cooperation project and is expanding its network of qualified Non-Key Experts who may be mobilised on a short-term, on-demand basis during project implementation.

The project aims to strengthen cooperation between the EU and MENA region and accelerate the development, deployment and investment potential of clean technologies and sustainable value chains.

We are seeking qualified Clean Tech Business & Value Chains Experts to join our expert pool and support private sector development, business cooperation, market development and sustainable clean technology value chains.

Key Responsibilities

Selected experts may support activities such as:

• Analysing clean technology markets, business ecosystems and value chains.
• Mapping companies, investors, technology providers and other relevant market actors.
• Identifying business, trade and investment opportunities across EU-MENA clean technology value chains.
• Supporting private sector engagement and business-to-business cooperation.
• Assessing supply chains, local content opportunities and industrial development potential.
• Supporting SMEs, start-ups and clean technology innovators in accessing markets, partnerships and investment opportunities.
• Facilitating cooperation between companies, public authorities, investors, research institutions and innovation ecosystems.

Requirements

Candidates should demonstrate:

• Relevant university degree in business, economics, engineering, innovation, international trade, energy or a related discipline.
• Proven professional experience in clean technology, private sector development, value chain development, business development or investment promotion.
• Experience with renewable energy, energy efficiency, green hydrogen, storage, sustainable industry and/or other clean technology sectors is highly desirable.
• Experience working with private companies, SMEs, start-ups, investors or business associations.
• Knowledge of EU-MENA trade, investment and business cooperation is considered a strong asset.
• Experience with EU-funded programmes, international organisations or development finance institutions is advantageous.
• Strong market analysis, business development, networking and stakeholder engagement skills.

Language Requirements

• Excellent command of English.
• Knowledge of French and/or Arabic will be considered a strong asset.
