Job summary

Swan Global seeks a QA/QC Inspector for a 3-month contract in Qatar. The role focuses on ensuring construction activities meet Qatar Energy quality standards, with inspections, documentation reviews, and adherence to project specs.

Extension possible based on performance and project needs. The candidate will inspect materials and welds, review ITPs and reports, and coordinate corrective actions while maintaining thorough records and liaising with engineers and client representatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas construction.
• Must have Qatar Energy project experience.
• Recognized QA/QC certification (e.g., CSWIP, AWS-CWI, BGAS).
• Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures and codes.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and testing of materials, welds, and installations as per approved standards.
• Review QA/QC documentation including ITPs, method statements, and inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with client and Qatar Energy quality standards.
• Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain quality records and prepare inspection reports.
• Liaise with project engineers, subcontractors, and client representatives.
