Job summary

Airswift is partnering with a Major Oil & Gas operator to source a QA/QC Engineer (Instrument/ Telecom/ F&G) for a multi-billion onshore gas plant. This long-term residential contract is on-site in Qatar, with standard 8–10 hour days, 5 days a week.

Position requires a strong background in Instrumentation & Controls, QA/QC discipline construction and commissioning, and familiarity with applicable codes and standards. Start date is negotiable with a 24-month duration and potential extension.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / Instrumentation & Controls Engineering (or Equivalent).
IRCA Certified QMS Lead Auditor desirable.
IECEx-CoPC or CompEx or similar certification desirable.
ASQ CMQ/OE, MCQI-CQP or similar certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

Support QA/QC documents (ITPs, QCPs, Test Procedures, MARs) for construction programme.
Review and approve QMS, Engg., & Procurement documents.
Ensure QA/QC requirements at site and for suppliers/subcontractors are met.
Organise QA/QC meetings and conduct surveillance/inspection activities.
Monitor NCRs, RCA/CAPAs and keep ITRs and QA records up to date.
Lead or participate in audits and QC health checks.
