Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking a skilled Pump Maintenance professional for full-time engagement in Doha. The role covers dismantling, inspecting, and repairing a range of pumps including centrifugal, boiler feed, seawater intake, and condensate systems.

You will perform precise shaft and bearing alignment using laser tools, conduct hydrostatic and vibration tests, and troubleshoot mechanical faults while maintaining rigorous safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certificate in mechanical engineering.
• 5–7 years' hands-on experience with rotating equipment, especially pumps.
• Strong knowledge of centrifugal, boiler feed, condensate extraction, and seawater intake pumps.
• Familiarity with QE standards, ASME/API codes, and OEM manuals.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, inspect, and repair centrifugal, boiler feed, seawater intake, condensate, and potable water pumps.
• Perform precision alignment of shafts, couplings, and bearings using laser alignment tools.
• Conduct hydrostatic, performance, and vibration tests post-maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical faults, vibration issues, and seal/bearing failures.
• Maintain maintenance logs, inspection reports, and compliance records.
• Follow HSE procedures, permit-to-work systems, and PPE during outages.
• Coordinate with project engineers, field service engineers, and rigging teams during pump removal/installation.
