Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Doha, Qatar, is seeking a full-time Mechanical Maintenance Technician. You will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment, conduct routine inspections, and diagnose faults to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires a Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, experience in industry, and knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in industrial, oil & gas, or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance for optimal performance.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out corrective actions.
• Assist in equipment overhauls, shutdowns, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain records of maintenance work, spare parts usage, and equipment history.
• Ensure safety standards and company policies are followed.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve reliability and efficiency.
