Job summary

Supply Tech Nexus is seeking a Senior Production & Planning Engineer in Doha, Qatar, to oversee integrated supply chain planning, storage allocation, and vessel scheduling. The role requires coordinating with upstream producers, storage terminals, port operations and global customer delivery commitments in a 24/7, high-pressure environment.

You will develop loading schedules for Ras Laffan Terminal Operations, align inventories, and resolve berth conflicts with RLIC, QatarEnergy Sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 6 years in oil and gas commercial operations and shipping, with 5+ years as a scheduler.
• Experience in short- and long-term planning for petroleum, LNG, or refined products.
• Proven ability to manage complex supply chain constraints, berth allocation, and tank farm inventory.

Responsibilities

• Develop reliable loading schedules for RLTO facilities and align tank inventories, rundown rates and vessel berthing.
• Build short- and long-term production forecasts for Non-LNG products and refinery feedstocks; monitor forecast accuracy.
• Analyze maintenance impacts and formulate rapid mitigation plans to protect business continuity and compliance with joint-venture agreements.

What The Role Covers

Integrated Supply Chain & Loading Scheduling

You develop reliable loading schedules for Ras Laffan Terminal Operations (RLTO) facilities, aligning tank storage inventories, rundown rates, and vessel berthing schedules. You actively resolve berth and loading conflicts by coordinating with RLIC producers, QatarEnergy Sales Operations, and port authority pilots to ensure zero operational disruption.

Inventory Management & Production Forecasting

You build short-term and long-term production forecasts for Non-LNG products and refinery feedstock balances across operating terminals. You continuously monitor actual versus forecast rundown performance, updating models daily and operating specialized terminal planning systems (HIMS) to guarantee high inventory accuracy.

Disruption Mitigation & Process Governance

You analyze planned and unplanned maintenance activities across storage and loading infrastructure to protect business continuity. In cases of unexpected facility downtime or operational bottlenecks, you formulate rapid mitigation plans, update standard scheduling procedures, and ensure full compliance with joint-venture agreements.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline)
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in oil and gas commercial operations and shipping, with at least 5 years specifically as a product or oil scheduler
• Proven track record in short- and long-term planning and scheduling for petroleum, LNG, or refined products
• Direct experience managing complex supply chain constraints, berth allocation, and tank farm inventory management
• Strong analytical and stress-management skills, with the ability to operate under time pressure in a fast-paced environment
