Job summary

QatarEnergy LNG is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to advise and support during EPC and Startup, ensuring safety, operability, reliability and maintainability throughout the facility life cycle. The role requires influencing decisions with OPEX awareness and participating in Hazop, Hazid, RCFA and SIL verifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
• 8 years' experience in an oil and gas environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support Process Engineering during EPC and Startup phase until handover to permanent Asset.
• Influence project decisions considering OPEX for project life cycle.
• Develop and implement process surveillance tools for Operations assets.
• Support development of Standard Operating Procedures for new projects.
• Participate in RCFA, Hazop, FRA, Hazid, SIL verification and process safety issues.
• Assist with system completions and walk-down prior to commissioning and startup.
