Job summary

UCC Holding in Doha, Qatar seeks a senior Process Engineering Leader to drive the design and delivery of power plant process systems. You will oversee heat and mass balance, PFDs/ P&IDs, and the technical governance of the full engineering scope.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team across vendor interactions, site support, and commissioning, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time project outcomes. A strong background in EPC power facilities and complex process systems is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years in design and project delivery.
• Progressive experience in power generation facilities, combined cycle power plants, thermal power plants, utility systems or related EPC infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and technical assurance of the process engineering scope.
• Direct heat and mass balance calculations, process simulations, PFDs and P&IDs.
• Provide technical leadership for power generation process systems (gas turbines, HRSGs, cooling, water treatment).
• Prepare and review process engineering requisitions and vendor documents.
• Manage interfaces with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control systems, civil, structural, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Lead constructability reviews and resolve field modifications and startup challenges.
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures and regulatory obligations.
• Lead HAZOP, process safety reviews, risk assessments and value engineering.
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup and handover activities.
• Guide engineers, allocate work, mentor team and maintain stakeholder communication.
