Job summary

Arena Events & Venues is seeking an experienced PMO Manager to strengthen project governance across our portfolio. The role provides structure, visibility and consistency, supporting project teams and leadership with reporting, performance monitoring, risk management and continuous improvement.

This hands-on position operates across strategic and operational levels, building stakeholder relationships to embed effective project management in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Professional PMO certification (PMP/PRINCE2/APM) desirable.
• Experience in PMO, programme management or governance across multiple projects.
• Strong commercial awareness with budgets and forecasts.
• Experience in fast-paced consultancy/events/infrastructure environments would be advantageous.
• Experience working with GCC or international teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of PMO governance and project management standards.
• Oversee portfolio-level tracking, reporting and performance monitoring for leadership visibility.
• Establish consistent reporting templates, controls and documentation.
• Monitor milestones, risks and dependencies; support timely resolutions and escalation.
• Collaborate with Finance for financial oversight and project governance.
• Prepare portfolio reports, dashboards and senior management presentations.
• Work with Project Directors and cross-functional teams on mobilisation, resource planning and delivery.
• Promote use of PM tools and reporting to ensure consistent ways of working.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to PMO capability development.
