Job summary

QatarEnergy Qatarization is seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Pipelines to lead and manage mega pipeline projects, overseeing design, construction and commissioning of complex systems. The role emphasizes upgrading brownfield facilities, ensuring safety, schedule and budget adherence, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Candidates should have extensive experience in oil and gas projects, with a proven client/owner representation track record and strong regulatory

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–12 years in engineering, project management and execution of oil & gas projects, with 5–7 years on pipeline & brownfield projects.
• Proven track record managing multidisciplinary pipeline & brownfield projects from design through handover.
• Experience as client/owner representative on projects.
• Familiarity with codes, standards and environmental regulations.
• Competency in detailed design, construction, commissioning, handover, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete project management for mega pipeline projects.
• Lead engineering, design, construction and commissioning activities.
• Ensure delivery within scope, schedule and budget safely.
• Manage stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams across phases.
