Job summary

Swan Global is seeking a Pipe Erection Supervisor for Ras Laffan, Qatar, on an Oil & Gas project. You will supervise piping erection activities, ensure compliance with drawings and codes, and coordinate with QA/QC, welding, NDT, and engineering to maintain safety and quality at the site.

The role requires a Diploma or Trade Certificate in Mechanical or Piping Engineering, 8–12 years in piping construction, and at least 3 years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Trade Certificate in Mechanical or Piping Engineering.
• Experience in piping construction on major Oil & Gas or petrochemical projects.
• Leadership and coordination capabilities on site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily pipe erection works including spooling, fit-up, alignment, bolting, and installation of piping systems.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, welding, NDT, rigging, and engineering teams to resolve site issues and close inspection requests.
• Enforce HSE standards, toolbox talks, JSA, and site regulations.
• Plan manpower, equipment, and materials to meet schedules and productivity targets.
• Monitor progress, prepare daily reports, and highlight constraints or risks to site management.
