Job summary

Snoonu is seeking a Senior Payables Accountant to own accounts payable processing and reporting across our Core Finance Group operations in Qatar. You will verify invoices, manage prepaid/accrued expenses, and consolidate subsidiary balances while ensuring accurate trial balances and IFRS 16 rent schedules.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in payables or financial accounting, experience with multi-entity or franchise reporting, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with professional qualifications preferred.
• 4–6 years in accounts payable or financial accounting, multi-entity or franchise exposure a plus.
• Strong knowledge of prepaid/accrual accounting and IFRS 16 rent accounting.

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable, verify invoices, code GL accounts and cost centers.
• Manage prepaid and accrued expenses, posting journals and schedules.
• Reconcile advances to suppliers and maintain intercompany balances.
• Consolidate subsidiaries' trial balances and prepare P&L schedules.
• Prepare reporting on cost allocations and intercompany/franchisee activity.
• Review daily sales reports for accuracy before downstream posting.
