Job summary

Confidential Company in Doha, Qatar seeks an experienced Civil Engineering professional to oversee on-site infrastructure projects. You will ensure design integrity, quality, safety and regulatory compliance while coordinating with contractors, consultants and clients to sustain momentum.

You will mentor junior engineers, review submittals and progress against the schedule, and ensure environmental and sustainability standards are met throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• PE license or equivalent.
• Certification in construction management or project management (e.g., PMP).
• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure projects.
• Experience in the infrastructure industry and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site construction activities ensuring adherence to design specs, quality and safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of work, materials and equipment with timely feedback.
• Review and approve contractor submittals, shop drawings and method statements for compliance.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for issues, providing guidance to resolve challenges.
• Monitor progress against schedule and implement mitigation to avoid delays.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and clients to facilitate communication and collaboration.
• Prepare and submit progress reports documenting activities and challenges.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff.
