Job summary

Abroad Work in Doha, Qatar is seeking a Civil Engineer to design and manage civil engineering projects for commercial and residential properties, ensuring plans, specifications, budgets and schedules meet client objectives.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of project management experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work with clients, architects and regulators to deliver projects on time and within budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in civil engineering project management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of local building codes & regulations preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans, specifications, budgets and schedules for civil engineering projects.
• Monitor project progress to ensure meeting deadlines.
• Analyze data from site inspections and surveys to plan projects accordingly.
• Prepare detailed reports on project findings for review by clients and other stakeholders.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure that all safety regulations are being adhered to.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
