Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering seeks an experienced offshore crane operator to load and unload materials on offshore platforms and vessels. You will follow lifting procedures, perform pre‑op checks, and assist in preventive maintenance while coordinating with riggers and deck supervisors for safe lifts.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, offshore crane operator certification, and 5–7 years of offshore experience. OPITO/IMCA certification and HSE training are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training in crane operation or mechanical systems is preferred.
• OPITO/IMCA or local authority offshore crane operator certification preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years of offshore crane operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate pedestal cranes to load/unload materials on offshore platforms and vessels.
• Follow offshore lifting procedures and perform pre-operation checks.
• Conduct routine inspections and report defects; assist in preventive maintenance of crane systems.
• Secure loads properly and calculate weight limits for balanced lifting.
• Coordinate with riggers, signalers, and deck supervisors to ensure safe operations.
• Respond promptly to mechanical issues or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain crane operation logs, inspection records, and lifting permits.
