Job summary

Airswift is seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer to oversee offshore maintenance and integrity of production facilities. The role focuses on rotating/static equipment, valves, HVAC, and safety systems, with emphasis on preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, ensuring reliability and uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair in oil & gas, petrochemical, LNG, refinery, or offshore energy sectors.
• Experience with rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and associated auxiliary systems.
• Experience managing offshore maintenance activities, shutdowns, and reliability programs.
• Hands-on CMMS experience, preferably SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance & asset integrity for offshore production and processing facilities.
• Ensure integrity, reliability, and availability of rotating/static equipment, pressure systems, valves, HVAC, lifting equipment, and safety-critical equipment.
• Develop, implement, and improve preventive, predictive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance programs.
• Review and update maintenance procedures to align with standards and best practices.
• Participate in equipment commissioning, start-up, shutdown, turnaround, and recommissioning activities.
• Conduct inspections to verify compliance with technical specs, requirements, and safety standards.
• Analyze failures and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Plan daily/weekly activities and allocate resources; manage permits-to-work.
• Coordinate contractor work scopes and monitor performance and quality.
• Support shutdowns/turnarounds with planning, risk assessments, and scoping.
