Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commissioning Lead (Offshore Electrical) based in Doha, Qatar. You will oversee all Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities offshore by the EPC Contractor, ensuring systems meet project specs.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of completion certificates, punch lists, and safety standards. You\'ll coordinate with contractors, manage documentation, and drive safe handovers of Brownfield assets in a demanding offshore

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering is required.
• Minimum 8 years' experience with large-project commissioning in Oil & Gas.
• Experience with completion certificates and punch list categorization.
• Experience using completion management systems (PIMS, WinPCS, ICAPS, Hexagon).
• Familiarity with construction QA/QC and operations interfaces.
• Excellent organizational, reporting, and communication skills.
• Strong adherence to HSE standards and safe handover practices.

Responsibilities

• Witness contractors' scope of work and validate test sheets to requirements.
• Track construction progress during pre-shutdown and shutdown.
• Oversee offshore pre-commissioning and commissioning activities and ensure safety.
• Manage punch lists and weekly contractor meetings.
• Verify EPC dossiers for handover to permanent asset.
• Monitor preservation activities to meet project requirements.
• Coordinate and share lessons learned for the project register.
• Monitor subsystems via completion system and ensure timely handovers.
• Oversee documentation for mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
