Job summary

Malomatia in Qatar is seeking a Senior Network Operations & Cybersecurity Engineer to act as the operational backbone of the network and security function. You will manage day-to-day operations across routing, switching, and security engineering, reporting to the Lead and ensuring an audit-ready, stable environment.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in network operations and cybersecurity engineering.
• Experience owning routing and switching infrastructure and reporting outcomes to a Lead.
• Strong ability to prepare operational reports, dashboards and presentations for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day network and security operations across routing, switching, and cybersecurity engineering.
• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise routing and switching infrastructure for high availability.
• Own operational health of network devices and manage change, patching, and upgrades.
• Lead cybersecurity engineering activities across firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, VPN.
• Monitor for incidents, drive root-cause analysis and permanent fixes.
• Prepare operational reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Plan and run operational meetings and coordinate cross-functional activities.
• Act as escalation point and lead major changes end-to-end.
