Job summary

Confidential Company in Qatar seeks a Senior Technician Data Extractions responsible for end-to-end retrieval, validation and submission of meter data from electricity and water meters across Bulk and Domestic setups. This role blends electrical field skills with precise data handling to ensure KAHRAMAA system compatibility.

You will verify work orders, maintain mobility across zones, capture evidence, and format data per KAHRAMAA requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electronics.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical field services, meter reading, or industrial data acquisition.
• KAHRAMAA certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Receive work orders and verify meter locations for accessibility and safety.
• Maintain a dedicated vehicle for timely mobilization across zones.
• Identify and report irregularities including abnormal readings or tampering.
• Capture photographic evidence and maintain activity logs and data files as supporting evidence.
• Adhere to KAHRAMAA standards, procedures and safety protocols for electrical and water systems.
• Establish communication with electricity and water meters using optical probes and interface cables.
• Utilize manufacturer-approved software and laptops to extract billing registers, interval data, event logs and tamper records.
• Maintain full capability to interface with all KAHRAMAA meter types ensuring software and drivers are updated.
• Validate extracted datasets for completeness and accuracy with zero data loss or corruption.
• Format data precisely according to KAHRAMAA requirements.
• Perform uploads to KAHRAMAA and close cases once data is accepted.
