Job summary

Consolidated Engineering Systems Company seeks a Lead Mechanical Technical Engineer in Qatar to lead the design management of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, irrigation, STPs, and piping systems in residential and commercial projects.

You will review mechanical designs, drive value engineering, and ensure timely submission of deliverables with coordination across electrical, ELV, architectural and structural works.

Qualifications

• Advanced CAD drafting and design tools proficiency.
• Strong coordination with architectural and engineering disciplines.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Problem-solving skills to optimize project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and review of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, irrigation, and piping systems.
• Ensure designs comply with local regulations and project requirements.
• Prepare and approve mechanical drawings, specifications, reports, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with other engineering teams to integrate mechanical systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage technical coordination efforts.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to meet requirements.
• Review vendor submittals and ensure equipment meets quality and cost criteria.
• Support system commissioning and provide performance reports.
