Job summary

Mackinnon Mackenzie & Co of Pakistan is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor for Power in Qatar. The role requires 8+ years in a combined cycle Power Plant O&M and hands-on Siemens Gas Turbine experience, managing defect cards, resources and maintenance tasks.

You will ensure safety, compliance with OEM guidelines, and collaboration with senior leadership, while delivering reliable plant performance through daily reporting and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university.
• Good understanding of power/energy and Power sectors, emerging trends and technologies.
• Proficiency in English (must) and Arabic (plus).
• Hands-on operational and implementation experience.
• Ability to work with stakeholders and senior executives through collaboration & teamwork.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review defect cards, work orders and organize resources for maintenance.
• Assist in planned and preventive maintenance tasks and inspections.
• Mobilize manpower, equipment and tools on-site for permitted works.
• Provide daily progress reporting and support safety and risk assessments.
• Assist in diagnosing faults and coordinating spare parts.
