Job summary
Emerson is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer in Qatar to drive the Measurement Solutions growth strategy across modernization, migration, and reliability projects. You will identify opportunities from Concept Select through EPC execution, engaging end users, consultants, and EPCs to maximize Emerson content and win scope.
You will lead cross-functional pursuit efforts, influence specifications, and position Emerson as the preferred partner for brownfield and modernization initiatives in oil & gas,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in instrumentation/automation engineering or a related field.
- 7–10+ years in project sales or business development in process industries.
- Proven ability to engage end users, consultants, and EPCs during Pre-FEED/FEED.
- Strong knowledge of brownfield modernization and capital project execution.
Responsibilities
- Brownfield Projects & Modernization: identify and qualify projects involving Emerson Measurement Solutions.
- End User & Consultant Engagement: build relationships with plant management, engineers, and EPCs.
- Project Leadership Through EPC Phase: own pursuits and coordinate with EPCs to secure awards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: align with Sales, Proposal, Lifecycle Services, and Product Specialists.
