Job summary

Milaha in Qatar seeks a senior Marine Geophysicist to lead geophysical data processing, interpretation and reporting for offshore projects including Side Scan Sonar, Sub-Bottom Profiler and seabed hazard assessments. You will oversee routes, debris surveys, and pipeline surveys, review third-party reports, and support tender preparation while ensuring compliance with client specifications and HSE requirements.

Offshore Middle East experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geophysics, Geology, Marine Science or related field.
• 8+ years marine geophysics experience or equivalent.
• Experience in seabed debris surveys and pipeline route surveys.
• Offshore Middle East experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process Side Scan Sonar and Sub-Bottom Profiler datasets.
• Interpret seabed features, hazards, debris and shallow geology.
• Prepare route assessments, anomaly lists and charts.
• Review third-party survey reports and identify technical non-conformities.
• Support offshore acquisition team with technical troubleshooting and survey planning.
