Job summary

QNB Group in Doha, Qatar, seeks an experienced Senior Balance Sheet Manager to lead strategic balance sheet activities in line with the bank's risk appetite and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes governance, KPI tracking, capital management, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize returns while safeguarding the balance sheet.

Strong English and Arabic communication skills are preferred, and the incumbent will report to the SVP, Balance Sheet Management with exposure to Treasury

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in active dealing room, preferably in the Gulf.
• Excellent English and Arabic communication skills (preferable).

Responsibilities

• Budgets and policies: ensures balance sheet management aligns with strategy.
• Maintains strong relationships with internal units to achieve objectives.
• Prepares reports and monitors risk positions under delegated authority.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and risk management frameworks.
• Identifies opportunities for professional development.
